This past season has been challenging but in a way where we are growing from it.

In November of 2020 it was made known to me that I would be needing to take on the care of my older sister and mother. My sister is a bed bound quadriplegic and my mother is elderly and not in a good mental state. You would probably think that I was about as my mother is to even entertain the idea of bringing them into my home but you’d be wrong… I am way more crazy. :-)

Well, we took them in this past February of 2021 and haven't looked back. Other than some bumps in the road along the way and with the challenge of having not just one disabled person living in your home but two, we are extremely blessed to be able to serve them in this way.

This has caused me to step back a little in my duties with Eagles Wings Disc Golf but only in the realms of not traveling to the Professional Tour stops on the West Coast like I normally do. Once we get into a routine then it will free me up to get back on the road when I am required to do so. In the meantime I am still helping produce our Virtual Chapels for our pros that are still on tour.

One of the new things I took on this past year was running my events under the umbrella of EWDG. This meant that one of the largest disc golf events for women on the west coast, ran by me the last 5 years, would be run as a premiere Eagles Wings Event and would allow me to have an easier access to ministering to my players than I did before.

This comes with challenges but it also comes with eternal rewards.

Please be praying as I prepare for the event and for the unique opportunity that it brings. I have 120 ladies coming in from all around the country. They know I am a believer and know that I want them to know that they are loved by our Lord and Savior. The harvest is plentiful.

Your brother in Christ,
